Michele Woodward Gillman possesses over 18 years of sales and marketing experience, primarily within the meetings & event industry.  As a successful sales person and marketing strategists she assists clients in confirming appropriate communication channels and developing creative tools with impact.  Prior to starting Controlled Chaos and while working with the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau’s Atlanta National Sales Office Michele directed the Southeast sales efforts for the island and was responsible for generating $6.5 million annually in group travel related revenues.  Marketing strategies included: regional advertising, national direct mail campaigns, international customer events, educational client gatherings, tactical alliances and industry partnerships.

Michele has served on both the Board of Directors of Meeting Professionals International Georgia Chapter (GaMPI) and Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International – Georgia Chapter (HSMAI-GA) for seven years in varying capacities.  She has been recognized for her contributions and rewarded for her volunteerism.  She has also been a guest lecturer at Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University and Primerica University addressing Graduate and Ph. D. level students on marketing.  Michele has published several articles in regional and industry publications. Most recently she facilitated a three-part webinar series on The Importance of Branding.  Michele will employ her sales and marketing expertise to conceptualize, create and implement communication vehicles that will drive educational and event opportunities to existing and prospective customers with the goal of spreading awareness and increasing revenues.

Specifically for Nardone Consulting Group, Inc., Controlled Chaos delivers conference theme identities that are woven through the fabric of the meeting or event, creating memorable experiences in the process.  We conceptualize and design the graphical elements of tradeshow items such as:  booths, posters, and on-site directionals.  Advertisements promoting upcoming events are produced.  The graphical elements, including design and layout for association membership toolkits, such as the following are also created:
